I initially thought this item faulty and started a return process. But then discovered, that the test mode is ONLY activated when connected to the battery and NOT connected to power. I suggest that this instruction may be added to the manual as the English manual is concise and does not contain this information. Once I understood, it has turned out to be a very useful tool. And may have payed for itself already as a suspect battery appears to have come back to life and presenting very good test results. I am very happy with it and the prompt shipping. Thank-you.
